Governor the Central Bank of Yemen Ahmad Ghaleb discussed Thursday with representatives of Money-Changers Association and establishers of the Unified Funds Company plans of the bank to promote money-exchanging work and realizing stability with the help of brothers and friends.
The meeting confirmed significance of plans of promoting exchange work, which will be enhanced by deep reshuffling reforms to be implemented by the government in different fields, especially in economic, financial fields and institutional building aiming at boosting resources, limiting public expenditure and combating corruption to realize financial sustainability.
Ghaleb praised the role of the association to promote the banking work and providing services to citizens in different areas, as well as excluding remittances network from speculators and illegal exchangers.
He hoped that the establishers of the unified funds company will speed up activating works of the network and linking it to the Central Bank for the importance of the work governance and implementing systems of money laundering and financing terrorism.
