Presidential decree mandates COCA to audit the CBY actions

A presidential decree no (69) of 2021 issued today, Monday, about delegating the Central Organization for Controlling and Auditing (COCA) to check the actions of the Central Bank of Yemen (CBY).

Article (1): The COCA is authorized to work on auditing and assessing all actions by the CBY ever since it has been relocated in the temporary capital Aden in September 2021 until the end of 2021.

Article (2): The President of COCA is entitled to pick a specialist accountant, a professional economist and an a specialist judge to help the COCA getting this mission done.

Article (3): All executive leaderships of the CBY shall comply with this mandate, provide all required data.

Article (4): THE COCA shall get this mission accomplished within 90 days from the date of this authorization.

Article (5): The COCA shall report to the President of the Republic once it get the mission finished.

Article (6): This decree shall take its effects from the date of issuance, published in the gazette.
