Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA) and the Republic of France have re-empathized that it is very important to sustain the ongoing efforts to reach political solution to the Yemeni crisis based on the GCC's Initiative, its executive mechanism, outcomes of the National Dialogue and International Security Council resolutions in relevant, namely 2216.
The KSA and France confirmed in a joint statement issued today, Saturday, following the French President Emanuel Macron's visit to the KSA that is important to support the efforts of the UN Special Envoy to Yemen to achieve peace.
France has affirmed its full support for the Saudi peace proposal proposed on March 2021, voicing its condemnation of the ballistic missiles and drones attacks carried out by Houthi militia against the KSA, confirming its historic commitment to maintain the Kingdom's security.
