Ambassador of the Republic of Yemen to Havana, Cuba, Mohammed Nasher met today, Wednesday, with Deputy Head of International Relations in the Cuban communist party, Head of Middle East and North Africa and the official in charge of Yemen Affairs.
Yemeni-Cuban bilateral relations and cooperation were key point of the discussions.
Nasher provided the Cuban officials with an informative overview on the latest political developments in Yemen, citing the legitimate government's efforts to achieve peace based on the agreed upon peace references namely, UNSCR 2216.
He explained Houthi militia's violations and atrocities against the civilians and IDPs in Marib, ALjwaf, Hodeidah and other regions.
The Cuban officials reaffirmed the Cuban supportive stance in support of Yemen and the efforts aiming to make peace.
