Deputy Speaker of Parliament Mohammed Ashdadi along with the parliamentary delegation accompanying him participated today in the discussions of the 143 Session of general assembly of the International Parliamentary Union (IPU) held in the Spanish capital Madrid.
Ashdadi delivered speech in which he provided an informative report about the situations in Yemen since Iran-backed Houthi militia carried out its coup d'état against the legitimate government, disrupted the political transition process and triggered the ongoing devastating war.
He cited Houthi militia's grave violations and atrocities against the civilians including the Yemeni MPs against 47 out of them the militia has issued death verdicts.
