Yemen's Ambassador to Egypt Mohammad Marim discussed Wednesday with Under Secretary of the Egyptian Foreign Minister for Arab Affairs Yaser Othman latest military and political developments in Yemen under Houthi militia's continuous stubbornness and its rejection to all peace initiatives and efforts and continuous attacks on Marib Province.
He also touched upon destructive role of Iranian regime in inflaming the war and failing international efforts and steps for realizing peace in Yemen.
The two parties discussed means of boosting Arab diplomatic cooperation and mechanisms of activating it under Yemen's chairmanship of Arab diplomatic corps.
For his part, the Egyptian official confirmed his country's firm position supporting the internationally recognized government of Yemen and protecting Yemen's security, unity and stability.
