Deputy Foreign Minister for Political Affairs Mansour Bajjash received Wednesday credentials of the new Greek Ambassador to Yemen.
Bajjash confirmed significance of boosting and improving mutual relations between the two friendly countries. He reviewed latest developments in Yemen and the government's vision regarding realizing jus and inclusive peace in accordance with the three internationally agreed upon references; the GCC Initiative, the outcomes of the National Dialogue Conference and Security Council Resolution 2216.
He hoped success to the Greek ambassador in his duties and hoped more progress to Yemen-Greek relations, confirming that the ministry will provide help to the new ambassador to help him carry out his task successfully.
For his part, the new ambassador confirmed his country's support to the internationally recognized government, expressing concern of Greece regarding shelling Marib City by Houthi militia, hoping quick stability and peace to Yemen.
