Prime Minister Dr. Ma'een Abdulmalik received today, Saturday, here in the interim capital Aden Ambassador of the French Republic to the Republic of Yemen Jean-Marie SAFA.
They discussed several topical issues including the urgently needed support for the government to manage economic, humanitarian challenges, carry out the necessary economic reforms, eliminate Houthi militia's coup, re-establish peace.
Ma'een explained the government's ongoing efforts and plans to handle the economic hardship and implement reforms plans, highlighting the urgently needed international support for the government to do its job successfully.
Concerning to the ongoing efforts to make peace, Dr. Ma'een stated that substantial international pressures and stern sanctions against Houthi militia are necessary to push peace.
The French Ambassador reiterated his government's support for the Yemeni government at bilateral level and UN International Security Council.
