Governor of Taiz Nabil Shamsan discussed Monday with World Food Program and a number of partner organizations new mechanisms of providing food assistances and increasing beneficiaries of Taizi people.
Shamsan touched upon the process of Prometric registration process and the process of updating information implemented by WFP to ensure provision of assistances to beneficiaries in districts of Sala, al-Muzaffar and al-Qahira, pointing out to suffering of the province from continuous siege on the city and difficulties of the transportation from and into Taiz province.
Working on implementing modern mechanical system is international improved mechanism through which food assistance are ensured to arrive to the deserved people, said Shamsan, thanking the WFP and all international organizations for their efforts exerted to alleviate suffering of Taizi people.
For his part, Director of WFP's Taiz Office Hindobi Ahmad confirmed continuous provision of food assistances to Yemeni
people, thanking Taiz Local Authority for facilitating the organization's activities in Taiz.
