Amassador Ashuaibi seeks for German active role to push peace in Yemen

Ambassador of Republic of Yemen to Berlin Yahya Ashuaibi sought for a German robust contribution to the international efforts aiming to make peace in Yemen.

He plainly blamed Iranian spoiler role in fueling war and prolonging the Yemeni conflict.

As he met today with the Director of the Middle East Department in the German Foreign Ministry Gregory Bldgian, he asked for a robust German role in mounting pressures upon the Iranian regime in order to press for peace..

The session intended to discuss the latest developments in Yemen amid current military operations on Marib governorate.

The German official stated that Germany is keen on realizing peace in Yemen, supporting the good offices have been made by the UN special envoy to Yemen.
