'MASAM' removes 1565 Houthi- laid landmines in 2nd week of November

KSrelief Center's Demining Project in Yemen (MASAM) extracted 1565 of landmines and unexploded ordnances (UXO) in the second week of November 2021.
These landmines were laid down by Iran-backed Houthi militiamen in different Yemeni regions.
The Center reported that MASAM technical teams pulled out 4 anti-personnel, 541 anti-tanks landmines and 1020 UXO.
This is brings total number of landmines removed by MASAM up to 287 thousand and 645 since it has started its demining mission.
