Japan offers $7mln grant to support food security in Yemen

The Japanese Government announced a new grant for Yemen worth $7 million in aid to support food security in Yemen.
The gran is provided through the United Nations Organization for Food and Agriculture (FAO).
The Japanese embassy in Yemen stated that this $ seven million is an extra grant to a package of humanitarian aids totaling $ 58.7 million pledged by the Japanese government to provide this year donations.
This brings total amount of Japanese contribution to the humanitarian actions up to $65.7 million in 2021.
