Minister of Telecommunications and Information Technology Najeeb al-Aweg discussed Thursday with his Iraqi and Palestinian Counterparts Arcan Shihab and Ishaq Sidr cooperation in telecommunication and information technology.
The meeting discussed mechanisms of activating cooperation, exchanging expertise and supporting joint initiatives in different relevant fields.
Al-Aweg pointed out to steps taken by his ministry for improving and updating telecommunications despite current challenges in the country.
He confirmed keenness of the ministry to overcome challenges and obstacles facing technical and economic progress, expressing wish of making use of training programs to qualify Yemeni cadre in information technology field.
