FM calls on IC to press for reaching political settlement

Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates Dr. Ahmed Bin Mubarak called on the International Community (IC) to pile pressures upon Houthi militia and Iranian regime in order to realize a political settlement to put an end of the Yemeni peoples' ordeal.

He voiced his statement as he conferred with the Russian Ambassador to Yemen Vladimir Dedoshken today over the efforts have been made to stop the war and establish peace in Yemen amid Houthi militia's ongoing military escalation, rejection of peace options.

Houthi militia's grave violations and brutalities against the civilians in al-Abidia District of Marib governorate were cited.

The Russian Ambassador confirmed his country's support for Yemen and the efforts aiming to achieve peaceful solution to end the war, maintain Yemen's unity, security and stability.
