Shura Council participates in opening session of Arab Parliament

The Chairman of the Yemeni Shura Council participated in the first opening session of the new session of the Arab Parliament at the headquarters of the Arab League in the Egyptian capital.

Dr. Ahmed Bin Daghr delivered Yemen's speech praising the positions of the Arab countries, and its continued support for the Yemeni people in his defense and its sacrifices to restore the state, preserving the Republic and unity, warning of the terrorist escalation of Iranian-supported Houthis on the efforts to achieve peace.

He expressed the appreciation of Yemen for the Arab coalition led by the Saudi Arabia, who resist the Houthi aggression against the people of Yemen. The chairman of the Shura Council has condemned Iran's support for the terrorist Houthis, who have endangered the security of the region. He called for more common Arab efforts to preserve Arab national security.
