Yemen's Minister of Communications and Information Technology, Dr. Najeeb Al-Awj discussed with his Egyptian counterpart, Dr. Amr Talaat, aspects of coordination between the two countries in the field of communication and information technology and ways to develop them.
The meeting touched on a number of topics related to ways to enhance cooperation between the two countries, and to benefit from Egyptian experiences in developing digital technology, modern and industrial communications for mobile phones, and consulting services to support technical support in the field of optical fiber extension.
Al-Awj praised the Egyptian experience in the field of communications and information technology, pointing to the importance of cooperation in providing the necessary support in aspects of training and developing the capabilities of Yemeni workforce with the latest information and communications technology.
