Vice President (Lt. Gen) Ali Mohsen Saleh met today with Ambassador of Arab Republic of Egypt to the Republic of Yemen Ahmed Farouk.
The session aimed to discuss the latest developments in Yemen and Yemeni-Egyptian bilateral ties.
Mohsen highly praised deeply-rooted Yemeni-Egyptian relations, deeply appreciating Egypt's supportive stances in support of Yemen, its republican regime, security, stability and unity.
The Vice President detailed the Egyptian Ambassador on the latest developments in Yemen as a result of Iran-backed Houthi militia's coup d'état, affirming the government support for the efforts to make peace based on the three agreed on peace references.
The Egyptian Ambassador reiterated his country's continuous support for the Yemeni legitimate leadership, people, Yemen's security, stability and unity.
