The Presidential Leadership Council (PLC)held an extraordinary meeting chaired by His Excellency President Dr. Rashad al-Alimi, the Chairman of the Council, with the presence of all its members Sultan al-Aradah, Tariq Saleh, Abdulrahman al-Mahrami, Dr. Abdullah al-Alimi, Othman Majli, Mahmoud al-Subaihi and Salem Al-Khanbashi to discuss national and regional developments and the proposed policies to address them at all levels. Prime Minister Dr. Maeen Abdulmalik has ordered Governor of Aden, Chairman of the Security Committee Ahmed Lamlas, and Director of Aden Security, Major General Mutahar Al-Shuaibi, to work to put a quick end to the clashes taking place in Crater district, and the resulting civilian casualties, and disturbance to public peace.

The Prime Minister stressed the necessity of restoring security and stability and limiting the damage caused to private and public properties, stressing that the necessary care should be given to the injured.

The Prime Minister heard from the governor of Aden, the head of the security committee and the director of Aden's security, a preliminary report on the circumstances of what happened and the measures taken by the security services to deal with it and impose security and stability.
