The Governor of the Central Bank of Yemen (CBY) Ahmed Ghaleb and the Special Envoy of the UN Secretary-General to Yemen Hans Grundberg discussed today, Tuesday, in the temporary capital Aden, the latest developments in the financial and economic situation in our country and amid the ongoing conflict in the region.

Non-Resident Ambassador of Republic of Yemen to the Republic of Belarus Ahmed al-Wuhayshi met today here with Belarusian Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Mikalai Barysevich.

They conferred over bilateral ties between the two countries and issues of common interests.

Al-Wuhayshi briefed Barysevich on the latest developments pertaining to peace efforts in Yemen, affirming the Yemeni government's full support for the UN-led peace efforts . He blamed Houthi militia for the peace process stalemate.

The Belarusian minister voiced his country's support for Yemen and legitimate Yemeni government as well as the UN- lead efforts to make peace.
