Houthi rocket shelling of Marib governor's house reveals frustration with militia's failed war
[27/09/2021 11:39]
ADEN - SABA
Minister of Information Muammar Al-Eryani condemned in the strongest terms the Iranian-backed Houthi militia's attack on the house of the Governor of Marib Sultan Al-Erada with two ballistic missiles, which led to the intimidation of women and children and caused great damage to the a hospital, a mosque and a number of neighboring houses on Saturday night.

Al-Eryani said in a statement to Saba that the terrorist attack reveals the militia's frustration at the steadfastness of Marib and the failure of the Houthi militia's war on the city.

He said the attack was a cowardly act of revenge that confirms the state of (moral) bankruptcy the Houthi militia by trying to attack a role model of dedication, sincerity, and sacrifice in the service of the country.

Al-Eryani called on the international community and the UN and US envoys to condemn the attack and all attacks on residential neighborhoods, homes and displacement camps in the Ma’rib governorate as a war crime and a flagrant violation of international laws and covenants.
