The recent republican decisions issued yesterday, Thursday, marked a new turning point in promoting the participation of Yemeni women in decision-making positions. The decisions included the appointment of Dr. Afrah Abdulaziz Al-Zouba as Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates, making her the first woman in the country's history to hold this sovereign portfolio. Al-Walidi, WHO survey function of Medicines authority in Aden

Deputy Minister of Health for Primary Healthcare, Dr. Ali Al-Walidi, and the resident representative of the World Health Organization in Yemen, Dr. Adham Rashad, inspected the routine function of the Supreme Authority for Medicines and Medical Supplies in the temporary capital, Aden.

The Executive Director of the authority, Dr. Abdul-Qader Al-Bakri, briefed the visitors on the authority's activities and tasks, and the challenges it faces.

Al-Walidi and the WHO official also visited the authority's laboratories department.
