COVAX committee discuss results of immunization against covid-19

The COVAX Committee, chaired by the Minister of Public Health and Population, Dr. Qassem Beheibeh, discussed the results achieved in the first round of the immunization campaign against the emerging coronavirus (Covid-19) in a virtual meeting today.

The committee reviewed and evaluated the challenges it faces and praised the great role played by the COVAX facility in light of the exceptional circumstances that our country is going through.

The meeting reviewed the progress of preparation for implementing the second round distributing of the Johnson & Johnson vaccine, stressing the need to adhere to vaccination policies and to give powers to the governorates, in granting electronic links to those who received the Johnson & Johnson vaccine.
