KSrelief Center's Demining Project in Yemen "MASAM" managed to pull out 1495 landmines and unexploded ordnances (UXO) in the first week of September 2021.
This amount of the landmines were planted by Iran-allied Houthi militiamen in different parts of Yemen.
KSrelief reported that MASAM removed 14 anti-personnel and 834 anti-tanks landmines and 646 UXO, one explosive device. Until now MASAM has demined 272 thousand and 770 landmines since it has stated its demining mission.
