The Director of the Agriculture and Irrigation Office in Al-Mahra Governorate, Eng. Saeed Al-Qumairi, discussed with the Director of the Saudi Program for the Development and Reconstruction of Yemen in the governorates of Hadramout and Al-Mahra, Eng. Abdullah Basliman, the implementation of the wheat cultivation project in Wadi Al-Masila and the difficulties facing farmers, especially the lack of fertilizers.
In the meeting, it was agreed that a survey team from the Agriculture Office would go to the areas of Wadi Al-Masila and study the feasibility of implementing the project.
It is noteworthy that the project was scheduled to be implemented last year, but it faltered due to the lack of water.
