Marib's battle is every Yemeni's fight, says minister

The Minister of Information, Culture and Tourism Muammer al-Eryani described the battle has been fought by the government's troops and national resistance fighters to defend Marib governorate against the Iran-allied Houthi militiamen attacks as everybody's duty.

He said " The ongoing battle to defend the governorate of Marib must be a duty of every Yemeni fellow, it is a battle to defend Yemen, the republic and Arab identity".

His remarks came as he and the governor of Marib Sultan al-Erradah co-chaired a preliminary session held in the city of Marib today brought together senior officials of media, culture and tourism authorities in Marib.
