Eryani condemns Houthi encroachment on Dhamar public stadium
[10/07/2021 12:24]
ADEN-SABA
Minister of Information Muammar al-Eryani has condemned the encroachment on the main public stadium in Dhamar governorate by a Houthi leader saying the Houthi militia members have exceeded the limits in acts of lawlessness.

A member of the Houthi militia controlling parts of northwest Yemen seized half the Stadium of Dhaafn City claiming the property on which the stadium is built belongs to his forefathers.

The militant known as Al-Awami has already started laying designs and building constructions in the stadium.

"Seizing the stadium, one of the landmarks of Dhamar city, is an episode in the series of Houthi organized usurpations of public facilities and private properties since the militia's overthrow of the government," said al-Eryani.

The minister vowed that all seized properties will be restituted one day to their private owners or to the public and coming Yemeni generations.
