The criminal investigation services in Al-Mahra governorate have arrested four people of a suspected history in drug trafficking and drug use with quantities of narcotics in their possession.

The arrest came as part of the expanded security campaign to combat drugs in Mahra. An official source in the Criminal Investigation Department in Al-Mahra stated that they had received several reports and information that led to the whereabouts of the accused, and that after investigation and verification, a security operation was carried out that culminated in the arrest of four people with a history of promoting and using narcotic substances.
