Taiz statistics office to carry out study to evaluate war damages

Taiz Statistics Office launched Tuesday a workshop aiming at conducting practical study to evaluate war destructions and effects of the siege on Taiz city in the period from 2015 to 2020 in accordance with international standards.
Attended by Deputy Head of the Central Organization for Control and Audit Tariq al-Mathaji, the workshop targeted a number of executive offices in Taiz, within series of workshops targeting all damaged offices.
The participants discussed the methodology of carrying out the study and mechanisms of preparing reports of working teams.
Director of Statistics Office of Taiz Khaled al-Asbahi confirmed significance and objectives of the evaluative study, which aims at evaluating damages and losses of war and siege on Taiz for coming out with accurate statistics on damages hit all Taiz's sectors.
