Minister of Information, Culture and Tourism Mua'mar al-Eryani discussed Thursday with Kuwaiti Minister of Culture and Information, the State Minister of Youth Affairs Abdulrahman al-Mutairi cooperation aspects between the two countries in information field.
In the meeting, which was held on the sidelines of al-Eryani participation in meetings of the 51st Round of Arab Information Ministers' Council, he discussed with his al-Mutairi latest developments in Yemen and regional and international peace efforts for ending the war in Yemen and realizing peace.
Al-Eryani pointed out to Houthi militia's rejection to all peace initiatives and the militia's continuous military escalation in Marib and targeting civilians and camps of displaced people.
He praised Kuwait's position for supporting Yemen and its legitimized leadership and Kuwait's support to development in Yemen for five decades, as well as hosting peace consultations in 2016.
For his part, the Kuwaiti minister reconfirmed his country's firm position supporting the internationally recognized in Yemen under President Hadi and keenness of his country's on Yemen's unity, security and stability.
