'MASAM' removes 2183 landmines in 2nd week of June

KSrelief Center's Demining Project in Yemen "MASAM" pulled out 2,183 of landmines, unexploded ordnances (UXO) and explosives devices in the 2nd week of June 2021.
These landmines were planted by Iran-backed Houthi militiamen in different Yemeni governorates.
The KSrelief reported that MASAM's deminers extracted 728 anti-tanks and 2 anti-personnel landmines, 1,446 UXO and 7 explosive devices.
This brings total number of the landmines demined by MASAM since it has started its demining actions up to 254,918.
