Marib forms local committees to mobilize support for army

The local government of Marib province has formed district-level committees to mobilize popular fighters and other kinds of support to the army against the backdrop of Houthi militants’ non-stopping war against the province.

In a meeting headed by Marib’s governor Sultan al-Eradah, the Executive Committee for Mobilization and Support decided has decided to form its branch committees in the administrative divisions of Marib, called districts, to set on mobilizing fighters and support in kind to the army guarding the province from the Iranian-backed theocratic terrorists.

The governor said the support and mobilization operation is a step instructed by President Abd-Rabbu Mansour Hadi to support the army to eventually liberate the capital Sana’a and other provinces under the control of the Houthi militia.
