Minister of Water and Environment Eng. Tawfeq Asharjabi and the UNICEF's Regional Director for Middle East and North Africa Ted Shiban held virtual conversations today focused on aspects of cooperation between Yemen and the UNICEF.
They discussed the new action-plan which signed on by the UNICEF and the Ministry (sob) and the UNICEF's interventions in the sector of water, supplying local institutions in charge of water with fuels, equipment and spare parts.
The Ministry underlined the need for endorsing the sanitation projects, the third phase (AF3), identifying the implementation mechanism and approving the operational expenses.
