The Yemeni Business Council here seeks to increase trade exchange between Yemen and Egypt where there are more than 1.5 million Yemenis.
The council has many duties and steps to encourage trade exchange and enable Yemeni products to reach Egypt, especially goods and materials Yemeni community needs here and do not exist here, said the Head of the Council Mohammad al-Mujahid.
A state report for the Egyptian General Information Authority revealed that Yemeni investments in Egypt has reached USD 12 billion during the past two decades.
These investments are in fields of food industries, drinks, plastic and recently included oil and machine diggers, in addition to investments in real estate, medicines and other investments in field domain.
According to state reports, some Yemeni companies have become of greatest companies in Egypt and the Middle East, especially those invest in field of glass plates, ghee and soap and aluminum.
