The Public Health Ministry’s office in coastal Hadhramout launched on Wednesday a campaign for vaccinating people against coronavirus the region.
The drive, launched from the local Mukalla Hospital for Motherhood and Childhood, started with local health workers and the general public over the age of 60, with chronic health issues or otherwise vulnerable.
The Director of the Department of Healthcare at the ministerial office, Fouad Bamtrif, stated that the viral infections are increasing on a daily basis, and that this first phase of the campaign will be followed by two other phases throughout the districts of coastal Hadhramout.
