Poland condemns Houthi attack on civilians, IDPs in Marib

The director of the Division of Africa and the Middle East at the Polish Ministry of Foreign Affairs Patrycja Özcan-Karolewska condemned the Houthi militia's attack against civilians and IDPs in Marib.

In a meeting with the Yemeni ambassador to Poland Merfet Mujalli, the Polish official also expressed her country's concern about the Houthi denial of international technicians access to the decaying oil tanker of Safer which now poses a huge danger to the Red Sea environment and countries of the region.

Mujalli appreciated the Polish support to Yemen and pointed out to the importance of supporting Yemen's Coast Guards to secure the Red Sea and Bab al-Mandeb Strait from piracy and migrant smuggling operations.
