CAIRO - SABA
The Speaker of the Arab Parliament has welcomed the recent US-EU condemnation of the Houthi attack on civilians in Yemen’s Marib and in Saudi Arabia, but called on the international community to take it to the next level – “taking actions.”
In a statement today, Adel Al Asoomi said, “The international community, especially the UN Security Council have to move from condemnations to taking deterrent actions to protect civilians from sustained attacks.”
“It is no longer acceptable to stay silent towards the daily war crimes the terrorist Houthi militia keep committing against civilians,” he said.
