Belgian Minister of Development Cooperation, Meryame Kitir, announced today, Monday, that her country will provide financial aid worth five million euros (2.6 million US dollars) to support humanitarian efforts in Yemen.
The Minister made the announcement during her participation in the international donors ’conference on Yemen, which was held through visual communication technology, with the support of the governments of Switzerland and Sweden, and with the participation of more than 100 countries, UN and non-governmental organizations.
