RIYADH-SABA
Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates Ahmad Binmubarak discussed Wednesday with the Ambassador of Russia to Yemen Vladimir Dudeshken latest developments in Yemen and Houthi terrorist militia's military escalation in Marib.
Binmubarak pointed out that the steps of implementing Riyadh Agreement and the return of the government to Aden aim at realizing peace and national reconciliation, confirming that these plans have been faced with aggression by Houthi militia aiming at hindering efforts of ending the war in Yemen.
He said the continuous military escalation of Houthi militia in Marib, increasing violations in Hodeida and targeting civil areas in Saudi Arabia in addition to rejection of all international calls for peace are clear messages that the militia does not want peace and this matter requires exerting utmost pressure on Houthi militia to stop aggressions and to respond positively to peace efforts.
For his part, the Russian Diplomat confirmed his country's support to Yemen's security, stability and unity and keenness of realizing inclusive political settlement for ending the war.
