ADEN - SABA
Yemen’s Information Minister said the Houthis “escalated the war on Marib over the past weeks as planned for them by Iran but met only a severe defeat.”
Muammar al-Eryani told Saba, “The Houthi militia’s escalation has resulted in the “deaths of hundreds of their leaders and misled elements in the deserts and valleys of Marib and the burning of their military hardware” looted from the former army’s arsenal.
Al-Eryani said the militia deployed huge numbers of tribesmen, children and marginalized Yemenis to the warfronts to carry out suicidal progression while keeping their ideologues and dynastical supremacist elements in the backline.
