Deputy Minister of Planning and International Cooperation, Dr. Nizar Bashaib discussed, in separate meetings today in Aden, with a number of officials and representatives of international organizations in Yemen, the implementation of a number of projects in the humanitarian and development fields.
Basoheib discussed with the Deputy Resident Representative of the United Nations Development Program in Yemen, Nahid Hassan, the implementation of the livelihoods project for conflict-affected families in the cities of Aden and Hadramout.
In a separate meeting with the representative of the United Nations Population Fund in Yemen, Basoheib shed light on the expansion of international interventions to support government efforts to meet the basic and urgent requirements, especially in the areas of women and mother's life.
Basoheib also met with the Director of the World Health Office in Aden, Dr. Noha Mahmoud. They discussed strengthening cooperation and the future projects of the organization in the current year 2021 in the health aspects.
