The Presidential Leadership Council (PLC)held an extraordinary meeting chaired by His Excellency President Dr. Rashad al-Alimi, the Chairman of the Council, with the presence of all its members Sultan al-Aradah, Tariq Saleh, Abdulrahman al-Mahrami, Dr. Abdullah al-Alimi, Othman Majli, Mahmoud al-Subaihi and Salem Al-Khanbashi to discuss national and regional developments and the proposed policies to address them at all levels. Governor of Marib Maj. General Sultan al-Erradah stated that Marib today is fighting in the frontline against a terrorist theocratic insurgent militia proved inconsistent with all humanitarian values, harbors blatant enmity against freedoms and democracy, seeking to bring Yemen back to the middle ages and to make the great Yemeni people a subservient for the Mullah in Tehran.

His statement came as he chaired an extraordinary session of the Security Committee devoted to discuss the security and humanitarian in the governorate in view of the ongoing military and terrorist operations by the terrorist Houthi militia on Marib governorate.

It is important to mention that the governorate of Marib is hosting more than two million Internally Displaced Persons (IDP) who fled their own regions due to the Houthi militia's atrocities and oppression.
