Prime Minister confirms facilitations to relief and humanitarian activities

Prime Minister Ma'een Abdulmalik has confirmed that the government made a number of objectives and priorities in the government's program for facilitating relief and humanitarian activities and boosting cooperation with humanitarian organizations and missions to work easily across Yemen.
In him meeting with the Head of International Committee for the Red Cross Katerina Ritz on Sunday, Abdulmalik discussed with Ritz the committee's project and programs in Yemen in 2021 and coordination with the government for facilitating the organization's work in the country.
The two parties also discussed ICRC's role in facilitating exchange of prisoners and kidnapped.
For her part, Ritz reconfirmed that the organization's efforts will not stop in Yemen whatever the conditions are and will proceed with its humanitarian activities for helping Yemeni people.
She pointed out that the committee will expand its humanitarian interventions in Yemen.
