The Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriate Affairs Dr. Afrah al-Zouba called on the UN High Commissioner for Human Rights (UNHCHR) Volker Turk and the Human Rights Council to take urgent action regarding the humanitarian repercussions and violations resulting from the military escalation by the Houthi terrorist militias, amid the rapidly unfolding developments on the western coast and the Bab al-Mandeb areas.

The Committee for Developing Mechanism to Tackle Humanitarian Crisis discusses its action-plan

The Committee for Developing Mechanism to Tackle Humanitarian Crisis (CDMTHC) held its first session Thursday in the temporary capital Aden. The discussions led by Minister of Planning and International Cooperation Dr. Waed Bathib , the Committee chairman.

The session devoted to discuss the Committee's program and action-plan to communicate with the international community, donors and different UN's agencies and international organizations about the American administration designation Iran-backed Houthi militia terrorist organization.

The committee assigned a teamwork to communicate with the American government to coordinate about joint measures to reduce the impact of the decision on the humanitarian situation.

The Chairman of the committee ordered the ministries involved in the committee to establish teamwork to communicate with the UN's agencies and international organizations in order to ease the humanitarian and relief actions.

The CDMTHC was created per Prime Minister's decree to deal with the impact of the US administration's designation Houthi militia terrorist organization.
