Minister of Transport Dr. Abdusalam Humaid held virtual discussions on Monday with British Ambassador to the Republic of Yemen Michael Aron.

Yemeni-British bilateral cooperation in the domains of land, air and marine transport was key focus of the conversation.
Humaid touched upon the challenges facing the transport authorities and institutions, citing Aden seaport's needs for development as a case-in point.

The British Ambassador stated that his country is backing the government's efforts to re-establish security and stability. He added that the UK is supporting the efforts of the UN envoy to Yemen, working along with friendly countries to make peace, stop the war in Yemen and bring all parties to the negotiations table.
