Chairman of the Shura Council Dr. Ahmed Obaid bin Daghr, accompanied by his deputy Dr. Abdullah Abu al-Ghaith, arrived in the Egyptian capital, Cairo, Thursday to participate in the proceedings of the eighth conference of the Arab Parliament and Speakers of Arab Councils and Parliaments, scheduled to be held next Saturday at the headquarters of the League of Arab States.

Houthi militiamen kill 6 civilians, hurt 7 more in Taiz

Houthi theocratic militia militant committed one more massacre in Taiz governorate on Wednesday slaughtering six civilians among of them two children and two women, injuring seven more in the region of al-Haimah of Attaezian district eastern the city of Taiz.

Local sources told the Yemeni News Agency (Saba) the Houthi militiamen launched aggressive military operation against the region of al-Haimah shelling the populations' houses with heavy and medium weapons.

The military operation resulted in killing two children Anwar Abdulfata and Arafat Dahan, two women and men. Seven more persons sustained critical injures.

The militiamen encircled the region with large number of armored vehicles and one tank. The militants stormed 18 houses, blew up to houses using explosive devices, several houses were seriously damaged by the shelling.
