Leadership Council discusses mechanisms for responding to repercussions of local, regional developments

The Presidential Leadership Council (PLC) held a meeting today, Thursday, chaired by His Excellency President Dr. Rashad al-Alimi, Chairman of the Council and with the presence of its members Sultan al-Arada, Abdulrahman al-Mahrami, Dr. Abdullah al-Alimi and Othman Mujalli, while Saleh, Mahmoud al-Subaihi and Salem al-Khanbashi contributed to the discussions via video call.

250 of Houthis laid-landmines in Aljawf destroyed

Technical demining teams of the Yemeni Controlling Landmines Program (YCLP) in cooperation with the Saudi Demining Program "MASAM" have managed to extract and destroy 250 landmines.

These landmines were planted by Iran-backed Houthi militia's militants in roads and residential areas in the district of Khab and Asha'f of al-Jawf governorate.

The Director of the YCP Brigadier Ameen al-Auqail told the Yemeni News Agency (Saba) the demining teams are still working on removing the Houthis' landmines planted everywhere in Aljwaf governorate and other regions.
