The Member of the Presidential Leadership Council (PLC) Sheikh Othman Mujalli has made it clear that the Yemeni people do not see a future for Yemen, stability for the region or freedom of international navigation with the Houthi terrorist group, which has repeatedly proven to be unqualified for peace.

Prime Minister Dr. Maeen Abdulmalik received a phone call from the Secretary General of the Cooperation Council for the Arab States of the Gulf (GCC), Dr. Nayef Al-Hajraf, and discussed the developments in Yemen.
The discussions reviewed the international efforts to broker peace in Yemen, and the Houthi militia’s constant aversion to political solution and choosing military escalation on the fronts.
Talks also went over the militia’s refusing permission to UN experts to carry out maintenance for the dangerously decaying oil tanker of Safer that has become a time-bomb-like threat to the environment of the Red Sea They also discussed the steps to accelerate the implementation of the Riyadh Agreement between the government and the Southern Transitional Council.
The Prime Minister appreciated the honorable stance of the GCC states and their permanent stance by the Yemeni people and keenness to achieve security and stability for Yemen and its people.
