Speaker of Parliament Sultan al-Brakni stated that the presence of the Parliament and government in the country is going to make a significant breakthrough in the ongoing battle to restore the state and put an end to the Houthi coup.

His remark came during a session Wednesday brought together Parliament's leadership, Heads of Parliamentarian blocks and the designated Prime Minister Dr. Ma'een Abdulmalik.

The session devoted to discuss the top priorities need to be urgently addressed by the new government which is expected to be created shortly and set to return to the temporary capital Aden to exercise its job and carry out its missions.

The meeting has approved the mechanisms for coordination between the new government and the Parliament mainly about the government's program, action-plan and the needed support for the government.

Al-Brakani stated that the Parliament will stand with the new government and the Prime Minister, support all steps it will take to manage the challenges the country has been struggling with.

The Speaker of Parliament voiced his confidence that the brethren in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia will support the new government and keep on their supportive stance in support of the Yemeni people in different circumstances and fields.

The designated Prime Minister provided the Parliament leadership and Heads of Parliamentarian blocs with a detailed report about the military, political and economic situations. He cited the government's the primary plans and top priorities it will work on.
