Parliament's General Assembly discusses latest developments

The Parliament's General Assembly held Monday a meeting presided over by Parliament Speaker Sultan al-Barakani and discussed latest developments in the country, including process of implementing Riyadh Agreement and preparations for holding the parliament session in the transitional capital of Aden.

The meeting confirmed focusing on economic situations in the country and consulting with the new government on making swift solutions to alleviate people's suffering over severe economic conditions.

They praised efforts of Saudi Arabia for supporting Yemen in different fields and current efforts of implementing Riyadh Agreement.

The meeting discussed a number of issues to be included in its agenda in the forthcoming meeting of the parliament aiming at activating its role, which included monitoring steps of implementing the agreement.
