Arab Parliament has welcomed the practical steps have been taken recently to carry out the stipulated arrangements included in Riyadh Agreement between the government and the South Transitional Council (STC).
The Parliament issued statement at the conclusion session held on Saturday December 12,2020, in which it called on all Yemeni parties to move forward to implement the agreement in full including the formation of the new Yemeni government as a key request to manage the economic, development challenges and allay the Yemeni peoples' suffering.
The Arab Parliament condemned the massacres committed by Iran-backed Houthi insurgent militia in Hodeidah governorate on November29 and December 2,2020 and in residential areas of Taiz governorate, resulted in killing dozens of innocent civilians most of them women and children.
The Parliament urged an immediate implementation of the agreement reached on November 25,2020 about the urgently needed maintenance for Safer Oil Tanker to avert an uncontrollable environmental and humanitarian disaster in the Red Sea region.
